Montana Glow

Where to fish?  That’s an easy question to answer right now-everywhere!  Montana is glowing right now as far as rivers and fishing go.  The runoff came hard and is now letting go, hatches are getting more diverse (caddis, pmd’s, stoneflies-golden, salmon) and water temps are bullseye for good fishing.  No doubt there’s a bit of guilty pleasure enjoying these conditions this early in the season given that our water is not guaranteed for the long haul.  But for now, let’s enjoy the moment and go fish wherever!  This is a photo of a Missouri brown that ate a Pmd cripple with total confidence.
