Wade Fishing the Boulder

Last Thursday I was able to get out after school and go wade fish the Boulder River.  It was typically awesome and the fish were still going for the chubby.  I learned a new one from Matt in the black and tan chubby.  He was sticking it to them with the chubby in September!  Wade fishing the Boulder is tricky but it was great to slow down the pace that goes with a Boulder float.  It would be pretty skinny right now to fit a raft down so put on the boots, take your time, sit on a rock and enjoy the last days of summer.  Here’s a photo of Matt on the Boulder…
