MT Summer Fishing Season Kicking A..

The fishing report for Montana is currently great. I’ve been on the clean Madison River, the hatchey Missouri River, and productive Spring Creeks and a few lakes these last few/three lakes and life is good everywhere. June is so fun because it’s the real beginning of summer and everything is so fresh. The land is green and the fish are eagerly accepting of their summer menu. Currently we are having awesome dry fly fishing on the Missouri with caddis and pmds. The creeks were more pmds and beatis. The Madison is mostly nymphing for linebacker trout. The Yellowstone should be good to go when the Salmon Flies come (July 4) along with the Boulder and Stillwater. Which by the way will have plenty of water to fish thru the summer. The outlook is great!
