Hansen River Fly Outfitters is dedicated to the soul of Montana flyfishing and is operated by Aaron Hansen.  The business home base is right in the middle of Yellowstone country.  I began guiding in Montana in 1994 and have been an outfitter since 1997.  This outfitting business is small and seasoned and provides outstanding flyfishing trips to the area’s best waters at the best times.  My primary rivers are the Yellowstone, Boulder, Stillwater, Missouri and Madison.  I also guide on the Beaverhead and Bighole and the Livingston area spring creeks.  Most of my guiding days are spent in either my raft or drift boat.  We definitely get to see some really awesome country here in Montana.

I certainly enjoy being out there on the water and have fun guiding all skill levels.  There is a spot for everyone, expert or novice, on each of the listed waters. Teaching is something I am very familiar with and really enjoy those days when an angler starts to progress and gain confidence in their skills.  Good days are had by all with patience, laughter, and shared time on the water.
