Our favorite afternoon float is from Carter’s Bridge to either Mayors Landing or 9th Street Bridge. These Yellowstone River accesses are merely minutes from home and are also where some of the river’s best fishing occurs. This float produced many fish, started around 3:00 pm and went to about six. This is why we live here! A beautiful start to Montana’s fall. I wish I could do this everyday…
