Flyfishing Montana in the Heart of the Summer

Here’s what’s happening around here…  Yellowstone, Boulder, Stillwater are all coming into shape just as the summer truly begins.  We’ve got water to spare so far this year which is much appreciated as we hit the heat of the year.  Recently, I’ve been hearing lots of appreciative comments about u.v. blocking and sun protective clothing (instead of appreciative comments about goretex waders and insulated coats).  Time to fill up on chubby’s, gink, fly-agra, 3X and 4X, a few beadhead pt’s and go have a ball.  Check out this recent  Salmon fly caught cutthroat from the Yellowstone River…IMG_7453
