In Costa Rica their called “Sodas.”  Road side eating places where people can stop, eat, converse, and take a load off even it is for a few moments. Around here I guess we call them diners or “Greasy Spoons,” or locally “The Pop Stand.”  Greasy burgers, tater tots, and Wilcoxon’s ice cream are just what any summer lover can’t resist.  Our favorite stop for pre-fish ice cream is The Pop Stand located off hwy 89 South of Livingston and on the way to or from the Yellowstone River.  If your around here don’t pass this place by, its worth the experience to walk in the door and to enjoy some of life’s more simple pleasures.  Chubby isn’t just a fly pattern…
