Visor Flies

Dont need no steenkeng fly boxes

More than a few times I’ve been saved by the flies stuck in my vehicle’s visor.  Usually, the collection varies with the season and what’s happening at the moment.  Yet some flies seem to make the cut and remain throughout the year.  So with my non-guide vehicle (the most rusted-Subaru you’ve ever seen) I have some old stand by’s ready for action.  These flies (after a 30 mile Big Timber to Livingston contemplation – basically staring at them from about 3 inches away – I’m tall the car’s small) stuck in my Suby visor are pretty universal.  They will work in the spring, summer, fall and probably not right now (winter).  So since it is February I didn’t use any of them today and am glad that I didn’t.  A size 12 trude is way better when it’s 80 degrees outside and not 40 degrees.  Besides they “spruce” up the interior of a very “unspruced” vehicle…
