When Not Fishing in the Fall

There are all kinds of things a person can do around Livingston in the fall.  One can obviously get ready for winter by getting their house cleaned up or covering boats with tarps or go hunting.  This year I wont be big game hunting (Dr’s orders and I’m happy to abide) but have been at least once bird hunting and plan to do more.  My dog Trudy is a better hunter than I am and anyone who knows Trudy knows that means I am probably not a good hunter.  Well, at least I can say that I am terrible with a shotgun (right handed and left eye dominant-surprised I don’t stick a fork in my eye instead of mouth when eating).  Trudy is actually pretty good and if she had more birds to sniff out she would be in hog heaven.  Here are a few pictures of a really enjoyable bird hunt (gun walk) from about a week ago…
