Working Guide
At this time of the year most Montana fishing guides are at the top of their game and are seeing the light at the end of the guide season tunnel. This is a bitter sweet time of year because often times the fall weather gives a guide a second wind on the season. Our fall weather has been spectacular here in Livingston and the fishing has been mostly really good. Fish still eating hoppers, ants, and an assortment of mayflies during 80 degree days make living out of a boat on a river a great thing. These conditions also make it hard for some school teachers to go inside the brick box from Monday to Friday. Here is a picture of one of our areas best guides cooking an awesome shore lunch last Saturday. That’s Aaron Tewell with the tongs and the Yellowstone River in the background. This was an awesome day!
